is a Mexican-Lebanese transdisciplinary artist whose work bridges comedy, music, and storytelling. Since 2012, he has been a co-founder and performer with Los Godínez, a cult comedy band known for satirical takes on office culture, including the hit song “Viernes Casual” and the EP The Dark Side of The Office.
In the realm of stand-up comedy, Pablo has become a pioneering voice in Spanish-language comedy in British Columbia. He headlined the first Latinx comedy show at the Vancouver Playhouse and was the first Vancouver-based Latinx comedian to perform solo at venues like Performance Works and Presentation House Theatre. His latest comedy special, Soltería Tardía (“Late Singleness”), has been performed across Canada and Mexico, including at the Latin Comedy Festival in Toronto in 2024.
Pablo’s latest musical project, APÄTRIDA, is a cross-cultural collaboration featuring artists from Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Egypt, Japan, and Argentina. The project explores themes of identity, displacement, and transformation, with the single “No te resistas (a la realidad)” (“Don’t Resist Reality”) receiving critical acclaim. APÄTRIDA is set to release more music and perform at major festivals, including the STAND Festival in 2024.
