Cristian “DJ Kemo” Bahamonde is a Canadian DJ, producer, and founding member of the legendary hip-hop group Rascalz. With over 30 years in the music industry, he has built an internationally recognized career as a DJ, producer, songwriter, and audio creator.

Known for his versatility, DJ Kemo performs across a wide range of genres including hip-hop, Latin, funk, soul, reggae, and Top 40, taking him to venues throughout North and South America, Europe, and Africa.

As a producer, he is best known for co-producing Rascalz classics such as Northern Touch and Top of the World, as well as the global hit Dangerous by Kardinal Offishall featuring Akon. His production credits also include collaborations with artists such as Swollen Members, K-OS, Snow, Pitbull, Fito Blanko, Tanika Charles, and Maestro Fresh Wes.

Throughout his career, DJ Kemo has earned multiple Juno, SOCAN, ASCAP, and MuchMusic awards, including a 2023 induction into the BreakOut West Hall of Fame as a member of Rascalz.

Beyond music production and live performance, he has created soundtracks for video games, television, films, and commercial campaigns, while also mentoring emerging artists through recording and production programs. He continues to produce music with his production collective, Vanguards, and remains an influential figure in the Canadian music scene.
