Alejandro Manuel Palacio Zawady, born on June 5, 1985, showed his musical talent from a very young age. By the age of eight, he was already playing the guitar and performing in inter-school music festivals. At eleven, he began formal vocal and solfège training with Canadian instructor Judith Brassard, a former backup singer for Celine Dion, who helped refine his abilities over five years. Although his passion for music was always evident, it wasn’t until he turned 17 that he decided to fully pursue a professional career, leading him to move to the United States in search of musical opportunities.

In Miami, Alejandro took part in Live! With Gaitán Bross, a music competition organized by the renowned Gaitán Brothers—Panamanian producers known for working alongside Emilio Estefan on major Latin music projects with artists like Marc Anthony, Paulina Rubio, Jon Secada, and Ricky Martin. At 19, he relocated to New York, where he was mentored by businessman Luis Carlos Jaramillo and later discovered by Israel Romero, director of the iconic vallenato group Binomio de Oro de América. Alejandro joined the group and, over four years, gained recognition for his talent and professionalism. He became a key figure in bridging the traditional vallenato legacy with a new generation, earning acclaim from music critics across Latin America.
